Lifelong Lay Formation
Lifelong Lay Formation The Office of Lifelong Lay Formation strengthens and enriches faith through the lifespan of Catholics. It’s through our services and programs that we aim to nurture those who make up our diocesan church and help them grow in their relationships with one another and with Jesus Christ. Faith Formation is a lifelong journey.
Our office offers support as we:
- Equip youth ministry leader(s) with the resources, support, collaboration, and communication needed to create and sustain strong ministry to middle and high school youth.
- Accompany young adults in their late teens, twenties, and thirties, married and single, as they respond to the universal call to holiness.
- Resource individuals and couples with marriage preparation and enrichment opportunities, and events that help build a thriving marriage.
- Assist families with best practices for accompaniment through the many complicated situations they encounter.
- Provide opportunities for lifelong formation for adults and the possibility of renewed encounters with the living God, including through Be Formed.
Pope Leo XIV reminds us that “Vocation and formation are not pre-established realities: they are a spiritual adventure involving the whole story of a person, and above all, they are an adventure of love with God.” (Pope Leo to his Augustinian brothers on Sept. 15, 2025).
